Advantagesof our process

  CMC uses advanced solid state CIGS nano-imprinting in the production of solar cells. The process is a method of combined electrochemistry and nanoimprint lithography for thin-film solar cell epitaxial.

The process includes:

  • Comprising: nano-scaling thin-film material to make a thin-film solar cell material into a nanometer powder
  • Glue mixing: combine the nanometer powder with a UV curable adhesive into a glue-mixing material
  • Ion implanting and polarizing: to implant ion into the glue-mixing material and to polarize the glue-mixing material in an electric field
  • Thin-film printing: to coat the glue-mixing material applied to a substrate, to make a nanoimprint lithography process, then to form a thin-film solar cell
  • Electrode producing: to produce electrodes on both sides of the thin-film solar cell.

  This process not only provides additional energy levels and increases light absorption at different wavelengths, but also significantly inhibits the energy release of radio phonons at energy levels by the carrier. Thereby it will increase the chance of carriers through impact ionization to generate additional electron-hole pairs. More importantly, this process is the world's only pollution-free process, no traditional etching process needed. It is an absolutely pollution-free green process.
